Den er utrolig nyttig i buketter som fyldmateriale og holder længe i en vase, selv uden at blive tørret. Når alle blomsterne på stænglen er sprunget ud, visner Limonium ikke længere og egner sig til kranse, corsager og boutonniere. Én plante producerer mindst 15 stængler. Til tørring høster vi Limonium i den fase, hvor stænglen under blomsten er fast, og hele blomsterstanden er fuldt udfoldet. Hæng dem blot op med hovedet nedad, et tørt og ventileret sted, væk fra sollys.

Cultivation

Semena lze vysévat buď na podzim pro dřívější kvetení nebo brzy na jaře pro kvetení v pozdním létě.

Vysévejte uvnitř při teplotě 18 až 24 °C. Má velmi drobná semena a nedoporučuje se vysévat přímým výsevem.

Vysévejte do sadbovačů, květináčů nebo táců s navlhčeným kompostem. Semena lehce zatlačte do povrchu kompostu, ale nezakrývejte semena zeminou, světlo napomáhá klíčení.

Klíčení očekávejte za 15 až 20 dní. Růst sazenic je poměrně pomalý a od výsevu do přesazení je třeba počkat cca 10 až 12 týdnů.

Trachelium má ráda světlo a pro optimální růst potřebuje polohu s co největším množstvím slunečního svitu. Potřebuje také pravidelný přísun vody.
